Team #2753, Team Overdrive
Team Overdrive was the first program started by Teen Technology. Team Overdrive is a robotics team that competes in the FIRST organization.
They started with the FIRST Vex Challenge in the 2006/2007 season and had great success. The following season they once again competed at the same level which was now called the FIRST Tech Challenge. During that year they won every event they attended and went on to win the World Championship competition in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2009 they decided to move up to a new challenge by competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). They became one of the most decorated rookie teams FRC has ever seen, winning the NJ Regional and the Archimedes division of the World Championship competition. The next year Team Overdrive decided to stay in FRC and they faced some difficulties, but persevered through them and greatly improved their robot and team throughout the season, attending the World Championships once again.
The next season (2010/2011) the team moved back to FTC and were able to learn even more about robotics and teamwork. In the 2011-2012 season the team has grown and is continuing the Overdrive legacy of excellence.
