Team Overdrive in Delaware
 
Team Overdrive's first match of the qualification rounds we won 71 > 43. We also won the second qualification match 66 > 13. We won our 3rd qualifying match with a score of 51 > 29. We weren't undefeated in Ohio and wouldn't be in Delaware either as we lost our very next match. We came into the next one, though, with a resiliency to win and won it 74 > 42. Then team #197 Metalheads who was the # 1 alliance captain chose us and together we picked team #64 Occam's Engineers to finish the alliance. We faced some tough competition in the quarterfinals where we won the first match
38 > 29. We then lost the second match 23 > 19. Never giving up, we came back to win the next one 64 > 17. Our first match of the Semifinals was won 53 > 20 & our second also with a score of 63 > 27! Then we faced the 2nd seeded alliance in the finals and we barely squeaked out a win 38 > 31 in the first match.
We won the second, though, 30 > 9, sealing the victory!!
Then when announcing the awards, the judges' description of us gave it away, and Team Overdrive had won the Inspire award again!!
